THE GOLDEN IDOL

The Golden Idol takes inspiration from the intense opening scenes of Indiana Jones, Raiders of the Lost Ark. In these opening moments of the franchise, we saw Indiana Jones steal the Golden Idol from a booby trapped temple, by swapping it for a bag of sand of roughly the same weight. Unfortunately for him, his trade was unsuccessful, resulting in the temple around him self-destructing. In turn, this resulted in an incredible chase between Indy and an enormous, spherical boulder, which cemented the film in the history books from the outset.

Through a combination of 3D printing, craft foam modelling and specialist painting techniques we were able to bring this iconic scene back to life in incredible detail.
