GHOSTBUSTERS MUON TRAP

In October 2024, to celebrate the Halloween season, Mon Studios embarked on the creation of a meticulously crafted 1:1 scale, fully functional replica of the iconic Ghostbusters Muon Trap from the legendary franchise. The goal was to not only replicate the trap’s physical design with precision but also to bring it to life through dynamic, interactive features.

To achieve this, we integrated advanced working servos for realistic mechanical movement, a range of strategically placed LEDs to mimic the trap’s signature glowing effects, and a custom smoke feature to enhance its authenticity. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure an accurate representation, from the texture and finish of the exterior to the intricate internal components. The final result was a highly detailed, screen-accurate model that paid homage to the original design while showcasing the craftsmanship and technical expertise here at Mon Studios.
